How to Check & Verify Your Dear Lottery Ticket
A practical guide to the official result sheets — no predictions, no shortcuts.
· Last updated:
To verify a Dear lottery (Lottery Sambad) result, compare your ticket with the official result sheet for the same date and draw time: the Nagaland State Lotteries PDF for the 1 PM and 8 PM draws, or the Sikkim State Lotteries result for the 6 PM draw. This page explains each step.
Step 1: Read the date, draw time and draw name on your ticket
Every ticket shows the draw date, the draw name (for example "Dear Shine Tuesday") and the draw time: 1 PM and 8 PM are Nagaland State Lotteries draws, 6 PM is a Sikkim State Lotteries draw. Each weekday has its own draw name, so a ticket can only win in its own draw.
Step 2: Open the official result sheet
Nagaland (1 PM and 8 PM): the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries publishes every result sheet at nagalandlotteries.com. The PDF files follow a fixed pattern: https://www.nagalandlotteries.com/old_results/MNDDMMYY.PDF for 1 PM and ENDDMMYY.PDF for 8 PM, where DDMMYY is the draw date. For example, the official 1 PM/8 PM sheet for 20 October 2026 is EN201026.PDF. The sheets are scanned images, so you read them like a paper gazette.
Sikkim (6 PM): the 6 PM result is published by Sikkim State Lotteries, Government of Sikkim. We could not load and verify a Sikkim Government results page from our server, so we do not link one.
Step 3: Check the sheet's header
At the top of the Nagaland sheet you will find "Draw Date", the draw name (such as "DEAR SHINE TUESDAY WEEKLY LOTTERY"), the draw number and the draw time. All of them must match your ticket.
Step 4: Match the prizes
| Prize | Winner gets | How it's matched |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | ₹1 Crore | Full ticket: series and 5-digit number |
| Consolation | ₹1,000 | Same 5-digit number as the 1st prize, any other series |
| 2nd Prize | ₹10,000 | Last 5 digits, 10 numbers drawn |
| 3rd Prize | ₹500 | Last 4 digits, 10 numbers drawn |
| 4th Prize | ₹250 | Last 4 digits, 10 numbers drawn |
| 5th Prize | ₹120 | Last 4 digits, 100 numbers drawn |
- 1st prize: the full ticket — the series (two digits and a letter, e.g. 89H) and the 5-digit number — must match.
- Consolation: the same 5-digit number as the 1st prize with any other series.
- 2nd prize: the last 5 digits of your ticket. 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes: the last 4 digits.
Our ticket checker does this matching for you, but the official sheet is what counts.
Step 5: Claim within the deadline
According to the Nagaland result gazette, prizes above ₹10,000 are claimed by sending the ticket to the Director, Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries, Kohima, with three passport-size photographs attested by a gazetted officer or notary, or through the nodal offices in states where tickets are sold; claims are not accepted after 30 days from the draw. For 6 PM tickets, follow the procedure printed on the ticket and the Sikkim result.
Warning signs
- Nobody can know a result before the draw. Ignore offers of "lucky", "sure" or "fix" numbers.
- Do not rely on forwarded images or videos of a result; open the official sheet.
- Never pay a fee to "release" a prize to someone who contacts you.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the official Nagaland State Lottery result?
The Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries publishes the result sheets at nagalandlotteries.com. Each 1 PM and 8 PM sheet is a PDF named MN (1 PM) or EN (8 PM) followed by the date as DDMMYY.
Where is the official 6 PM (Sikkim) result?
The 6 PM Dear draw is run by Sikkim State Lotteries, Government of Sikkim, which publishes its own result. We could not load and verify a Sikkim Government results page from our server, so we do not link one. Check with your authorised seller or the Sikkim lottery authorities.
Is a WhatsApp image or video of the result enough to claim?
No. Screenshots, forwarded images and videos can be edited or out of date. Compare your ticket with the official result sheet, and follow the claim procedure printed on it.
How long do I have to claim a Nagaland lottery prize?
According to the Nagaland result gazette, claims are not accepted after 30 days from the draw. Prizes above ₹10,000 are claimed from the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries, Kohima, or through the nodal offices in states where tickets are sold.
Can anyone tell me the winning number in advance?
No. Every draw is random. Anyone offering a guaranteed, lucky or 'fix' number for money cannot know the result and may be running a scam.
