Where Dear Lottery Results Come From
Official sources, mirrors and our checking method for every Lottery Sambad draw.
· Last updated:
Dear lottery results come from two state lottery operators: Nagaland State Lotteries runs the 1 PM and 8 PM draws, and Sikkim State Lotteries runs the 6 PM draw. This page lists the source we use for each draw and how we check it.
| Draw | Operator | Official source | Where our numbers are read from |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 PM | Nagaland State Lotteries | nagalandlotteries.com (scanned PDF, file MNDDMMYY.PDF) | From 27 July 2026: the text copy of the same sheet on nagalandlotteries.net, an unofficial mirror not affiliated with the Directorate. Earlier dates: the official scan itself. |
| 8 PM | Nagaland State Lotteries | nagalandlotteries.com (scanned PDF, file ENDDMMYY.PDF) | Same as 1 PM. |
| 6 PM | Sikkim State Lotteries (Government of Sikkim) | Published by Sikkim State Lotteries. Not linked: we could not load and verify the Government of Sikkim results page from our server. | PDF copy of the Sikkim sheet on nagalandlotteries.net (unofficial mirror), from 27 July 2026 only. |
How live results are checked
- A couple of minutes after each draw, our system downloads the result sheet and reads every number: 1st prize with series, consolation, 10 numbers each for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes and 100 numbers for the 5th prize.
- Numbers are published only if every check passes: the full count in every prize, the 3rd and 4th prizes in ascending order, no duplicate 5th prize numbers. Otherwise we link the sheet instead.
- For Nagaland draws we also look for the official sheet and link it on the result page as soon as it is online.
Older results from the official archive
The official Nagaland archive holds 1 PM and 8 PM sheets from September 2025 onwards. These are scanned images without text, so for dates before 27 July 2026 we read each sheet with two separate digit readers (a template matcher and a nearest-neighbour matcher, both trained on official sheets whose numbers we already knew). A draw is published only if both readers agree on every single number, the sheet's printed draw date and draw name match, the 1st prize and consolation numbers read identically, and the count and duplicate checks above pass; where a text copy of the same sheet exists, it must match exactly. Tested on 168 official sheets with known numbers, this method accepted 146 and every accepted sheet was correct. Draws that fail are not shown with numbers. Dates are added gradually. So far 55 archive draws are published, alongside 252 live results.
We never publish predictions, "lucky numbers" or results from unverified sources. Each result page shows when its sheet was read.
